Joseph Lubeck, D.O.

Dr. Lubeck first joined PCOM's staff as an Instructor of Neurology in 1985. He is currently Professor, Chair and Course Director of Neurology in the Department of Internal Medicine. During his tenure at PCOM, Dr. Lubeck developed and coordinated an Integrated Neuroscience Curriculum in conjunction with Richard Kriebel, Ph.D. As part of a clinical teaching program, he supervised rounds with Junior medical students, interns, Internal Medicine residents and Family Practice residents. Dr. Lubeck is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Philadelphia Neurological Society, and the American College of Neuropsychiatrists.
Dr. Lubeck received his D.O. from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa in 1980. He completed his internship at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital in 1981, served a residency in neurology at Temple University Hospital from 1982 to 1985, and completed six months training in the electromyography laboratory of Hahnemann University Hospital.
