David Loughran, D.O.

  

Dr. David Loughran is Professor, Chair and Course Director of Infectious Disease in the Infectious Disease Division of the Department of Internal Medicine. He is also the Director of Continuing Education at Neumann Medical Center in Philadelphia. From 1986 to 1988 he was employed with the Centers for Disease Control, specializing in S.T.D. prevention. Dr. Loughran's contributions to professional journals include: "Epidemic Kaposi's Sarcoma" and "A Pictorial Guide to Lesions in HIV Infection" in Medical Aspects of Human Sexuality, and "Infections of the Parotid Gland" in New Jersey Medicine.

Dr. Loughran is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and the American Medical Association. He is an infectious disease consultant to numerous Philadelphia area hospitals. Dr. Loughran received his D.O. from PCOM in 1983.
