Daniel Parenti, D.O.

  

Dr. Daniel Parenti joined the faculty of PCOM in 1995 and is currently Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine. Prior to his tenure here, he was an attending physician for pulmonary diseases, critical care and internal medicine for Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center and The West Jersey Health Care System. From 1992 to 1993 he was Co-Chief Fellow in Critical Care Medicine with the Kennedy Memorial Hospitals of Stratford, NJ. He has lectured extensively on pulmonary ailments including the chronic cough, acute respiratory distress syndrome, and community-acquired pneumonia.

Dr. Parenti has been recognized with several awards, including the Dean's Appreciation Award for Dedication to Medical Education given by PCOM in 1998 and the Teacher of the Year Award from the Family Practice Department of Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in 1994. He is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. Dr. Parenti received his D.O. from PCOM in 1987.
