"Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine is dedicated to continually improving the quality of education for both the undergraduate and the postgraduate physician-in-training. This policy emphasizes the continuum of learning for the individual physician through four years of medical school, the internship year and his/her residency program. An energetic, skilled volunteer and full-time faculty at our five hospital consortium oversees this educational process by providing graduated responsibility for the house officer in a supervised, academic environment. This commitment will enable PCOM to continue as a national leader in osteopathic medical education."
