Tegrity Windows Media Player Diagnostics

To confirm the configuration of Windows Media Player follow the steps below.

For Windows XP
Select Start then select run
Type wmplayer in the box and press OK
goto the section titled Windows XP/7

For Windows 7
Click on the Start Orb and click on search Programs and Files
Type wmplayer and click on the wmplayer.exe in the box
goto the section titled Windows XP/7

after the steps above Windows XP/7

1. After Windows media Player opens press Alt -T
2. Press O
3. Click on the Network tab 
4. The Network settings should be identical to the settings shown below.
   Sometimes the Streaming proxy settings will be empty and the configure button will be inactive.
   If the settings differ see MS support.
