Bill Clinton, MA, Instructor

Bill Clinton serves as instructor in the master's program in organizational development and leadership (ODL) at PCOM and previously served as the director of the program.  He brings to the ODL program a solid background in business, consulting and academic experience, from strong leadership as a line manager to experience in leadership coaching and organizational consulting.

Under Mr. Clinton's leadership, the ODL program has specialized in helping students learn how to lead teams and organizations, including how to implement organizational strategies that achieve and sustain significant business results.  Through the ODL program, Mr. Clinton has shown students, leaders and organizations how to use a systems approach to generate transition strategies that shorten the time needed to achieve desired results.  He has also coached students and leaders on an individual basis, showing them how to leverage themselves to become the change that they seek in their organization.

In addition to Mr. Clinton's guidance of the ODL program, he draws on his own extensive background in management and consulting.  As chief operating officer of a regional service company, Mr. Clinton led the company to profitable growth in a highly competitive market.  As an organizational transformation consultant, he has helped a wide range of leaders become successful in their industry, effective in their role, and to improve their quality of working life.

Mr. Clinton earned his master of arts degree in applied behavioral sciences from the Leadership Institute of Seattle at Bastyr University in Seattle, WA.  His master's thesis project addressed the successful startup of leadership teams amidst restructuring, downsizing and reengineering challenges.  He received a bachelor's degree from University of Maryland, College Park.

Mr. Clinton works with each student to ensure that her or his PCOM experience is the best it can be.  He also teaches:

  • ODL 501 Foundations and Systems of Organization Development
  • ODL 514 Managing Emotional Systems in the Workplace
