CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT
Physicians: "This program anticipates being approved for 20 AOA Category 1-A CME credit hours pending approval by the AOA CCME". Sign-in and full day attendance of program required for credit. All faculty participating in continuing medical education programs sponsored by PCOM are expected to disclose to the program audience whether they do or do not have any real or apparent conflict(s) of interest or other relationships related to the content of their presentation(s).

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The 15th Annual Family Weekend CME program is targeted to the needs of the osteopathic family physician and other primary care health providers. The first and second day will cover current primary care issues in community medicine, pediatric asthma, anemia, sports related concussions, OMT, treatment of dementia, immunizations, hypertension therapy, rheumatology and shoulder and knee problems. The third and fourth day's focus is on HIV update, abdominal sepsis, infections of the head and neck, bioterrorism, meningitis, encephalitis, MRSA and skin infections, fever of unknown origin, and risk management (physician and attorney perspective).

Upon completion of the program, the participant should be able to:

• Identify and utilize key approaches relating to community medicine, pediatric asthma, anemia, sports related concussions and OMT.
• List current clinical issues involved with dementia, immunizations, hypertension, common rheumatological disorders, as well as shoulder and knee problems.
• Describe current clinical concerns regarding HIV, abdominal sepsis, head and neck infections, bioterrorism, meningitis and encephalitis.
• Discuss clinical issues relating to community acquired MRSA infections, risk management, fever of unknown origin and skin infections.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
A block of rooms has been reserved for registrants and their guests at the Hershey Lodge. Special Rates: $239.00 single or double. Charges for room and tax are on an individual basis. In order to receive this special rate, reservations must be made before the room block expiration date of Friday, May 23, 2008. REGISTRATION
To register for CME, please complete the registration form and return with your payment. Weekend fee: $550.00 for physicians, $450.00 for physician assistants, which includes continental breakfasts and reception on Saturday. Registration for individual days and fees are on the registration form. Due to the anticipated large response, pre-registration is required and cannot be confirmed without tuition fees. RECREATION
Hershey Park discounted admission tickets will be available at the box office concierge desk and a free shuttle is provided from the hotel. The Hershey Lodge also features indoor/outdoor pools, sauna and whirlpool, fitness facility, miniature golf, game room and many other activities. Enjoy shopping at area shops, including the Factory Stores, which are one block east of Hershey Park. Registrants will receive a booklet filled with all the information needed to plan a fun-packed family weekend. Directions will also be included.
