ERAS, or the Electronic Residency Application Service, is a type of Internet program medical students use to apply to residencies. You will apply to residencies in your fourth year of medical school, and the Office of Student Affairs will help you coordinate your application process. For more information on Student Affairs and the residency application process, please click here.
If you are a third year DO at PCOM, sign into nucleus and click on the "Career" tab for more residency information. If you are a fourth year DO at PCOM, sign into nucleus and click on the "ERAS" tab for the most up-to-date information about applying.
How do I get an ERAS token for residencies?
You will not receive your ERAS token until July of your fourth year. If you are a fourth year PCOM medical student, you will receive your ERAS token via email. You do not need to request a token, it will be emailed to your PCOM account.
How do I get an ERAS token for fellowships?
Medical schools do not coordinate fellowship applications. ERAS Fellowship tokens, letters of recommendation, and other components of the fellowship application are coordinated by the ERAS Fellowship Document Office (EFDO). For more information about applying to fellowships, please visit the EFDO website by clicking here: https://www.erasfellowshipdocuments.org/
