Dr. Patel received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from South University School of Pharmacy in Savannah, GA and attended the University of Georgia in Athens, GA for undergraduate school. She completed her ASHP accredited PGY1 residency program at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Columbus, GA and had PGY2 residency (ASHP accredited) training for oncology in Detroit, MI. Dr. Patel also earned a teaching certificate through her PGY1 residency program from Mercer and South University. Dr. Patel has a passion for oncology and is interested in medical oncology as well as hematology oncology. She plans to work on her board certification for pharmacotherapy and eventually oncology and currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacy Practice.
