Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice
Dr. John received both his Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Most recently, he completed an ASHP Accredited Post-Graduate (PGY-1) Pharmacy Practice Residency from Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. John has more than 10 years of hospital pharmacy experience and is excited about the integration of hospital practice to the PCOM school of pharmacy's curriculum. Dr. John’s therapeutic and scholastic interests are in the areas of neurology and infectious disease. Dr. John serves as a faculty member in the department of pharmacy practice teaching topics in classes such as Intro to Pharmacy, Communications, and Pharmaceutical Calculations and will be working closely with students during their Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) in the institutional setting. Dr. John holds active memberships with the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).
