Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Dr. Bai earned her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Southern California. She received her master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Tsinghua University and Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Peking University Health Science Center in China. After completing two years of post doctoral fellowship training at Mercer University, Dr. Bai has joined the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department of PCOM Pharmacy School as an Assistant Professor.
As a researcher in protein/peptide drug oral and transdermal delivery, Dr. Bai published several papers in peer reviewed journals, including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) and Pharmaceutical Research. The research was reported as a research highlight in Nature Reviews Drug Discovery, as well as by several scientific websites. In addition, Dr. Bai has also published in areas of HIV vaccine and cancer research.
