John Cavenagh, Ph.D., PA-C, Chairman
Dr. Cavenagh is a 1976 graduate of the Yale University Physician Associate Program. In 1977, he graduated from the inaugural class of the Norwalk Hospital/Yale University physician assistant surgical residency. He holds the degree of Master of Business Administration from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. He has also earned the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership/Systems with a concentration in Health Care Studies from Union Institute & University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has over 38 years of health-related experience. He has held various positions as a physician assistant clinician, health care executive and medical educator. He has previous faculty experience in the emergency medical training programs at George Washington University and Community College of Beaver County Pennsylvania. Since 1998, he has been an active teacher in both the pre-professional and professional phases of the PCOM physician assistant program. He currently serves as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies here at PCOM. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Physician Assistants in Emergency Medicine and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. He is a nationally board certified Physician Assistant and is currently licensed to practice as an osteopathic Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Laura Molloy, MMS, PA-C, Assistant PA Program Director
Laura Molloy has been with the Department of PA Studies since 1999. She brings to the program a wealth of knowledge and experience in family medicine and women's health issues. This professional experience has given her an excellent background in preparing students for all aspects of primary care practice. She has been active in developing our community health service projects and starting the PA club both at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
She has a Bachelor of Science from Hahnemann University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Sociology. She earned her Master of Medical Science degree from Saint Francis College. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. She is a nationally board certified Physician Assistant and currently licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania.
Greg McDonald, D.O., Medical Director
Dr. McDonald has been with the program since 2001 and has served as Medical Director since October of 2006. He is board certified in Anatomic and Forensic Pathology. Dr. McDonald has taught 100% of the pathology component of the program since 2001 and continues to do so today, teaching in 3 of 5 semesters of every didactic phase cycle. Dr. McDonald is an alumnus of the PCOM DO class of 1995.
Jill Cunningham, MHS, PA-C, Assistant Professor
Jill Cunningham is a 2003 graduate of Drexel University's Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies. She brings to the program a clinical background in Internal Medicine which she gained after 5 years of practice with Jefferson Medical Care in South Philadelphia. While in practice, Jill served as a preceptor to Physician Assistant students and developed and maintained the office Coumadin clinic in addition to her daily outpatient responsibilities.
Jill comes from a diverse background, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from LaSalle University and experience in editing and advertising. She also worked as a Massage Therapist in various settings including: fitness facilities, spas and a chiropractic wellness center, before returning to graduate school.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, a nationally board certified Physician Assistant and currently licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania. She maintains her clinical practice in the field of internal medicine.
Marilyn DiFeliciantonio, MLS, PA-C, Co-Director of Clinical Studies
Marilyn DiFeliciantonio spent many years as an educator before her graduation from the Hahnemann University Physician Assistant Program. She brings to the program a clinical background in Correctional Medicine, Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation. During her many years as a clinician with the Department of Neoplastic Diseases at Hahnemann University Hospital she also took part in various research studies in the field of cancer treatment.
Her interest in education and knowledge of the field of Oncology led her to be a lecturer on that topic for a number of Physician Assistant programs in our area. Her prior experience as a clinical preceptor for senior Physician Assistant students, medical students, and post-graduate residents adds value to her role as one of our clinical coordinators. Her interest and involvement in community education has led her to being involved as a professional speaker for the American Cancer Society and a number of women's groups on the topic of breast, ovarian, and other cancers. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. She is a nationally board certified Physician Assistant and currently licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania.
Sean Guinane, MS, PA-C, Assistant Professor
Sean Guinane is the first faculty member to join Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine's family having completed the five year program in conjunction with University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. After earning his Master of Science degree from PCOM in 2004, Sean entered clinical practice in a family medicine and urgent care setting for five years. There, he mentored several pre-professional students and precepted both physician assistant and medical students. While practicing, he was also responsible for the implementation of several medical technology products and served as sub-investigator for clinical research. Sean remained active within the PCOM community while in clinical practice serving on the admissions committee and as an adjunct instructor.
Sean is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Family Practice Physician Assistants. He is a nationally board certified Physician Assistant, and licenced to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Sean maintains practice clinically in family medicine and urgent care near the Jersey Shore.
Paul Krajewski, MS, PA-C, Co-Director of Clinical Studies
Paul Krajewski is a graduate of the inaugural PCOM Physician Assistant class of 2000. He has a diverse background in Orthopedic Surgery, as well as General Surgery, and Emergency Medicine. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from East Stroudsburg University in Health and Physical Education, a Masters of Education from Temple University with a concentration in Sports Medicine and a Masters of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has a wealth of experience as an Athletic Trainer as well as in the field of Sports Medicine. He has served as a clinical preceptor for physician assistant students in the disciplines of emergency medicine and general surgery. He has returned as an adjunct instructor to PCOM PA program throughout the years. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, a nationally board certified Physician Assistant and currently licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Florida. He currently continues clinical practice in Emergency Medicine in a large area hospital.
Christine Mount, MS, PA-C, Assistant Professor
Christine Mount joins PCOM faculty after working clinically as a Physician Assistant for the past six years. She has a bachelor of science degree in Health Sciences and Athletic Training from the State University of New York College at Cortland. She worked clinically in sports medicine as an athletic trainer for a year before returning to graduate school. She then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and Seton Hall University Physician Assistant program, graduating with the degree of master of science in 2001. Christine's clinical medicine has been in a variety of clinical settings. She has worked in a private neurologist office, emergency department and trauma center of an inner city hospital and a state run facility for individuals with developmental disabilities. Christine has participated as a clinical site preceptor for physician assistant students, medical students, and medical residents in the Emergency Department. She has been very involved in medical ethics serving on committees at multiple facilities regarding end of life issues and allowing patients to die with dignity. Christine also does monthly patient education lectures to families dealing with new onset dementia to help provide them with knowledge regarding this condition and available community resources. She is a nationally board certified physician assistant and licensed to practice as a physician assistant in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New Jersey State Society of Physican Assistants. She continues to practice clinically in emergency medicine for a large inner city hospital and trauma center.
Jennifer Windstein, MS, PA-C, Assistant Professor
Jennifer Windstein has recently joined the Physician Assistant program here at PCOM in April 2010. She is a 2005 graduate of the Wagner College Physician Assistant Program in Staten Island, New York where she received her Bachelor of Science and Physician Assistant Certificate. Upon graduating from PA school, Jennifer obtained a position at a private gastroenterology office in northern New Jersey while pursuing her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Wagner Colleger with a concentration in education. She then went on to work for the next three and a half years at a private family practice in Staten Island before coming to the Philadelphia area. While working in family practice she was a preceptor for PA students and worked as an adjunct professor at Wagner College's PA program in the general medicine course.
She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey.

Janice M. Hallahan King, MEd, RHy, Msc.D, Supervisor
Janice M. Hallahan King comes to the Department of PA Studies with a diverse background in education, business and alternative health. She has a Master of Education degree from Millersville University and a Certificate in Health Perspectives from Rosemont College. She has both taught and consulted on a professional level in both education and business. Her five years of Physician Assistant education experience in another program enhances her ability to relate to the students and understand the workings of the PCOM PA department.
King has an avid interest in Alternative Health. She teaches workshops on both high school and university levels that include: Facing your Fears, Smoking Cessation through Hypnosis, Reiki, Reflexology, Change your Thinking to Change your Life. She also coaches people going through life transitions using hypnosis and energy work as an adjunct. She is currently writing a book on how to work through fear. Other interests include music, poetry and soccer.
Jemal Marie Bankhead, Secretary
Jemal Bankhead comes to the Department with an extensive administrative background the majority of which was spent in Reinsurance Broking. She attended Drexel University and Temple University where she took several classes in Mathematics, Chemistry and Finance.
Jemal is married and the mother of five children and spends most of her free time with her family and participating in a Bible Teaching volunteer work. She also enjoys sports. art and reading.
Nadine Miller, Secretary
Nadine Miller comes to PCOM with over ten years of Administrative experience, two of which are in Physcian Assistant education.
Nadine has three small children and likes spending her time careing ror her family, cooking, baking and reading.
