Dr. Shank is a 1980 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and joined the faculty of the Department of Anatomy in 1982. Dr. Shank is board certified in Family Medicine and holds a certificate of added qualification in Geriatrics. Dr. Shank also holds an appointment in the Department of Geriatrics as an associate professor.
He practices in Delaware County and is the founding member of Rose Tree Medical Associates, a seven physician primary care practice in Media, PA. Dr. Shank serves as the Medical Director at Whitehorse Village, a retirement community in Edgmont, PA and the Skilled Nursing Unit at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Dr. Shank has a special interest in home health care and is one of the few physicians who still makes house calls.
