The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine - Georgia Campus invites pre-medical students and advisors to learn more about Osteopathic Medicine, Osteopathic medical schools and how to start a Pre-Student Osteopathic Medical Association (Pre-SOMA) chapter at their college.
The event will include:
Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Demonstration/workshop
Osteopathic Medical School Recruitment fair
Osteopathic Medical School Admissions representatives & other panels
Learn about the application process from Gina Moses, Associate Director of Application Services from AACOM (who will share tips on applying).
Participate in an Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine workshop
Learn how to start a Pre-SOMA chapter on your very own campus, including teambuilding and networking workshops and support for event planning
Meet current Osteopathic medical students
Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. with continental breakfast. Opening introduction are to begin at 9:00 a.m. with presentations and workshops throughout the day until 5:00 p.m. A box lunch will be provided to all participants.
This event is FREE to all Pre-Medical/Pre-Health Students and Advisors!! However, space will be limited, so please register as soon as possible! Deadline to register is October 18, 2013.
