Job Title: Simulation Technician (Part-Time)
Department: Clinical Learning and Assessment Center

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Clinical Learning and Assessment Center at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, seeks a part-time Simulation Technician. As primary assistant to the Simulation Specialist, the Simulation Technician will train and asses the clinical skills of medical students, interns, residents, physician assistants, nurses, and emergency medicine teams. Under direct supervision of the Program Administrator and Simulation Specialist, the Simulation Technician will set up and operate simulation equipment, assist in scripting scenarios, update and manage student scoring databases, and maintain and troubleshoot equipment. Other related duties will be assigned as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
A High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Associates or Bachelors degree in the field of medical technology preferred. A high level of computer proficiency is required including both Mac and PC. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task, maintain a high degree of accuracy, and possess the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
