ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Georgia Campus - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), in the greater Atlanta area, is seeking qualified individuals for a Full-time Biomedical Laboratory Manager. Under the direction of a Chief Science Officer, the individual is responsible for coordinating laboratory activities of faculty researchers and students across multiple programs. The position involves conducting research, data collection and analysis, daily supervision of students and other laboratory personnel, regular communication and collaboration with researchers, maintaining and managing equipment, supplies and resources needed to conduct research.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in life sciences discipline and a minimum of 3 years of experience in life sciences research that includes experiences with molecular and cellular biology techniques and approaches, small animal surgery, isolated perfused organ techniques, physiological recording, biochemical separation techniques including, but not limited to electrophoresis, HPLC.
