PCOM School of Pharmacy is currently seeking a qualified individual for one full-time, Assistant / Associate Professor, tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The job location is in Suwanee, GA (just outside of the greater Atlanta area). This individual is expected to assist in the development of the Doctor of Pharmacy program, to teach Pharmacology, Physiology, and other areas of pharmaceutical sciences in a team-taught curriculum, to develop and maintain an extramurally funded research program and participate in a collaborative, interdisciplinary research environment with other faculty in the school. In addition, this individual will be expected to contribute to the service needs of the school, serve on various committees and participate in the accreditation process.
The successful applicant requires a Ph.D. degree in pharmacy/ pharmacology /biomedical sciences or an earned doctorate with an emphasis on Pharmacology or Physiology. Desirable qualifications include: Two or more years Postdoctoral experience; Prior academic teaching experience; Successful record of scholarship and attainment of research grants.
